Roberto Soto Maynez has been a cornerstone of JKA for over 25 years, serving as a Senior Construction Consultant. With a solid background in civil engineering and construction management, his expertise and dedication have significantly contributed to JKA’s success.

Before joining JKA, Roberto gained substantial experience at notable firms such as Botavara Construction and Polux Developer, where he served as Resident Engineer & Project Manager. His career started at Tlaloc Construction as an Assistant to the Resident Engineer & Project Manager.

Roberto holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Mexico and a Master of Science in Construction Engineering & Management from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a licensed General Contractor in California and certified ICC Building Inspector. Roberto is also a member of IIBEC and ICC.

Roberto specializes in building envelope and forensic investigation. He finds forensic investigation the most inspiring part of his job, utilizing his analytical skills to solve complex construction issues.

Outside of work, Roberto enjoys biking, reading, and traveling.
