Nick Leone

Nick joined JKA as its Managing Consultant in 2023 after more than a decade of working in the multifamily development industry with both Raintree Partners and Thompson Dorfman Partners. Nick began his career in the building envelope and forensics industry with roles at both McGinnis Chen Associates and Marx Okubo.

He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and later obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. He is a licensed architect in California and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Nick’s areas of expertise include building envelope design, constructability peer reviews, and litigation support analysis. What he finds most inspiring about his job is watching a design transform from mere lines on paper into a tangible structure.

Outside of work, Nick can be found running the trails of Mt. Tamalpais or traveling with his wife and two daughters. Nick is also a member of The Guardsmen – an all-volunteer organization in San Francisco which raises $3M annually to send underprivileged children to summer camp.
