JKA was retained to investigate reported water intrusion at the California Academy of Sciences’ LEED Platinum museum building in Golden Gate Park. Our team conducted a full building envelope evaluation — combining field testing, environmental monitoring, and building science analysis — to pinpoint the source of the leaks and develop a practical repair strategy to protect the museum’s sensitive collection storage areas.
