Andrew Orellana

Andrew joined JKA as a Junior Consultant in 2025 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley. During his time at Berkeley, he studied a range of civil engineering principles including project management, geotechnical engineering, and structural engineering. He has since attained his Engineer in Training Certificate.

Since joining JKA he has an opportunity to apply what he has learned and greatly expand his breadth of knowledge on building systems. His work in building envelope analysis, including development of hygrothermal models and forensic investigations, has sparked a great interest in building envelope systems and the impact that can have architecturally and structurally.

Outside of work, Andrew is an avid runner, having previously competed for his university’s varsity Track and Field team. He also enjoys camping, rock climbing, and reading in his free time.
