JKA was retained to investigate reported water intrusion at an eight-story, mixed-use high-rise in San Francisco with ground-floor retail and parking, office space, and residential condominiums above. Our forensic investigation identified the sources of intrusion across the building’s window systems, curtain wall, and roof assemblies, and JKA developed a comprehensive repair scope of work and cost estimate for the Homeowners Association. JKA then developed a formal bid package, managed the general contractor selection process, and was retained as Construction Manager and Owner’s Representative to oversee the repair construction from start to finish.
